Cosi

1. Paris/ 2. reviews/ 3. Cosi PARReview photo credit: Wenkang Shan For 35 years, this casual restaurant has drawn regulars with its ultra-thin, housemade focaccia, baked to order in a wood-fired oven. We’d happily tear into a hot piece of salty, unadorned dough, but the fillings are fantastic—and there are enough options to come back every day for two weeks without getting the same thing twice. The MedWedd is always a winner. Briny olive tapenade and creamy goat cheese melt into every crevice of the warm bread, layered with fresh tomatoes, cucumber, red onion, and chive. And unlike a bakery, this place has actual tables, seats, and a clean bathroom, so you can regroup before heading off to your next landmark. LE DAILY SYRIEN This Syrian falafel shop may not have the cult following of some others in Paris, but if you ask us, their sandwiches are even more deserving of lines out the door. LE PETIT VENDÔME Le Petit Vendôme serves exceptional iterations of the standard Parisian jambon beurre. GEMÜSE The name of this Berlin-style kebab shop is, fittingly, German for "vegetables"—and you’re going to eat a lot of them at Gemüse. COSI $$$$
